Train2Game and Epic Game Jam
48 hours of energy drinks, sweat and tears.
Starting on the evening of 4th November, Epic and Train2Game hosted a 48-hour game jam at the University of Bedfordshire. The premise was simple: create an iOS-targeted game based around the theme of Guy Fawkes, the celebrated English anti-hero, using Epic’s UDK.
For the lucky and skillful winners at stake was a place in the grand final, Make Something Unreal Live, to be held at The Gadget Show Live in April 2012, with the opportunity to compete live in front of more than 100,000 attendees for the ultimate goal of a commercial UE3 iOS license.

Two New Releases Demonstrate the Breadth of Unreal Engine technology
This week there are two new releases that demonstrate how developers large and small can succeed on different fronts with Unreal Engine 3 across multiple platforms. One developer is a plucky, little, small-town group pulling themselves up from the bootstraps while the other is an award-winning London developer with the resources of a giant corporation behind them.
